Ganapati Pooja: Sri Ganesha (Vighnaharta) is propitiated first in order to eliminate all obstacles and
ensure that the ceremonies that follow proceed smoothly.


Rama Parivara Samprokshana: Pooja of Rama Parivar including Ram, Sita, Lakshman, Bharat,
Shatrughan and Hanuman. The Temple and its surroundings will be sprinkled with holy water.

 

Alaya Pradakshina and Yagashala Pravesham: Devotees carrying the Pradhana Kumbhas, Parivara Kumbhas,
Padukas, Mangala Dravyas, Pooja materials will circumambulate the Temple along with the Acharyas. All
will then enter the Yagashala to initiate the rituals.


Punyahavachanam: This ritual is performed to purify the Yagashala before the Yagnya and Homa are
performed.


VastuShanti Homam/ Havan: Completion of this Homam will eliminate all the negative energy present.
MahaSankalpam: The devotees make a resolution to go through with all the rituals, as prescribed in the
shastras, that culminates in the Vigraha Prana Pratishta of Saibaba.


RakshaBandhanam: A sanctified thread is tied around the wrist of the devotees for their protection.
Mritttika Samgrahanam: The Acharyas will collect Earth (soil) from the North East corner of the site for
Ankurarpanam.


Ankurarpanam: The Archaryas will plant NavaDhanya in earthen pots. The germination of the Dhanya,
symbolizes the beginning, and prosperous growth of the Temple.


KalasaAdhivaasam: Pradhana Kumbhas are arranged in the Yagashala for use in further ceremonies.


JalaAdhivaasam: The murti (Bhoga murthi) of Sri Saibaba will be immersed in water.


Dwara Devata Pooja: This pooja exalts the Dwara Palakas (Attendants).


Pradhana Kumbha Sthapana: Lord Sainath Himself is invoked into the PradhanaKumbha, which will be
worshipped through the ceremonies.


MandalaAaradhana: Yagnya is performed in different Yagnakunda, each for a particular deity.
Shri MahaGanapati Homam: Lord Ganesha in his eight forms is worshipped.


Dattatreya, Shri Sainatha, Sri Rama Parivara Moola Mantra Havan: These Havans are performed
reciting the Moola Mantra of each deity.


Rudra Havan: Rudra is worshipped by chanting mantras from Rudram. This Homam confers protection
from evil spirits.


Tatwanyasa Homam (Havan): 24 tatwas to be offered to God through the Homam. These 24 Tatwas are
in nature are created by God in this universe.


ShreeraAdhivaasam: The murti (Bhoga murthi) of Sri Saibaba will be immersed in milk.


DhaanyaAdhivaasam: The murti (Bhoga murthi) of Sri Saibaba will be kept in a container full of grains.


PushpaAdhivaasam: The murti (Bhoga murthi) of Sri Saibaba will be covered with flowers.


Ratnanyasam: Nine precious stones (Nava Ratna) will be offered by devotees at the lotus feet of Sri
Saibaba.


Panchadhatu: Panchdhatu is a mixture of five metals: copper, gold, lead, silver and iron. These will be
offered by devotees at the lotus feet of Sri Saibaba.


Yantra Sthapana: Engraved with mantras, the Yantra will be positioned such that it is under the Saibaba
Murthi. The Idol of Saibaba will derive Divine powers from the Mantra on the Yantra.


Vigraha Prathista: Installation of Sri Saibaba’s Murthi on the pedestal.


PranaPrathistanga Homan (Havan): Competent Acharyas reciting mantras, bring the unmanisfest Nirguna
Bramhan to a manifest form, the idol of Sri Saibaba.


MahaPoornaAhuti: Offer everything to Agni, the Fire God.


NaadiSandhanaam: This ritual transfers the power from the Kalasaas to Baba’s Idol through a silver wire.


Netronmelanam: Opening of the eyes of the Sri Saibaba’s Idol. Baba, through this idol, will Grace all
Devotees from this moment on until eternity.


MahaAbhisekam and Alankaram: Bathing of Baba’s Idol and decoration.
