For further details about above mentioned rituals, see below:

Ganapathi Pooja
Ganapathi and Vishwaksena (or Senadipati) are synonyms. Vishwaksena Pooja, prior to a religious ritual, is prescribed in Vaishnava agamas to remove obstacles from evil and to ensure proper organization. While Ganapati idols are ubiquitous, that of Vishwaksena are rare.

Punyavachanam
Punyavachanam is a purificatory rite to achieve purity of body, mind and the equipment used in the ritual.

GAU Pooja (Cow Pooja)
The Hindu beliefs state that there are 33 crore devathas in the Gau Maata (cow). Thus the very space occupied by a cow is holy ground and we worship.

Rakshabandhan
Sampoorn Prana Prathishta is a huge event which may run into obstacles unforeseen.  Rakshabandhan is performed to protect all devotees from these obstacles.

Lakshmi Havan (Homa)
This is performed to appease Mahalakshmi and pray for prosperity.

First Kaala Yaaga Pooja / Chathusthanarchana Pooja
This is the first pooja done for the Kalasa on the first day.

Netra Unmelanam
This is the ceremony in which life (soul) is instilled in the statues of the deities. Shilpies bring life to the deity by carving the following using gold and silver needles: eyes, nose, mouth, finger tips, belly button and toe tips.

Sudarshana Havan (Homa)
Sudarshana is the main weapon that Vishnu uses for protection. This havan is performed to protect the temple and devotees.

Vishesha Dravya Havan (Homa)
Various roots and herbs are offered in the havan.

Yantrasthapanam
Before each deity is installed, the yantram (a copper sheet on which the bijakshara mantra of the deity is inscribed) is placed along with navaratna (9 types of gems) stones and panchaloha (5 kinds of metals) in the base.

Nadi Sandhana
Nadi is a cord composed of six different types of threads (darba, copper, silk, cotton, silver and gold) together. During this ceremony, the power is transferred from the Kalasa, Sun god and the Pandit to the deity.

Prana Prathishta Havan (Homa)
It is a havan performed by the pandits to help transfer the power to the deities.

Yatradanam
To help the safe and successful transfer of all the power from kalasa to the deities, the following are offered: rice, yogurt, fruit, beetlenut leaves and dakshina.

6. CONCLUDING REMARKS:

8.00 PM- DINNER

9.00 PM TO MIDNIGHT - MATA KI CHOWKI and GARBA

Mata Ki Chowki is a very significant festival in Northern India. Every day of the year, a mass of humanity surges up steep pathways that cut across the hillside for mile after mile to view Holy Pindis, hidden in the cave at Trikuta mountain.

Popular belief holds that anybody who walks the Himalayan trail to her abode to ask for a boon rarely goes back disappointed. There are many who journey here year after year to pay obeisance regardless of their faith or belief, creed or class, caste or religion, for Mata Vaishno Devi transcends all such barriers.

As the legend goes, more than 700 years ago Vaishno Devi, a devotee of Lord Vishnu, used to pray to Lord Rama and had taken vow of celibacy. Bhairon Nath, a tantric (demon-God) tried to behold Her. Making use of his tantric powers, Bhairon Nath was able to see Her going towards the Trikuta mountains and gave chase. The Goddess felt thirsty at Banganga and shot an arrow into the earth from where water gushed out. The Goddess then meditated in the cave at Adhkawari. It took Bhairon Nath nine months to locate Her, the reason why the cave is known as Garbh Joon. when the demon-God located Her, Mata Vaishno Devi blasted an opening at the other end of the cave with Her Trident.

Sheranwali Mata on arriving at the Holy Cave at Darbar, she assumed the form of Maha Kali and cut off Bhairon Nath’s head which was flung up the mountain by the force of the blow and fell at the place where the Bhairon Temple is now located. The boulder at the mouth of the Holy Cave according to the legend is the petrified torso of Bhairon Nath who was granted divine forgiveness by the benevolent Mata in his dying moments.
